Oh my goodness! I am back from a crazy wonderful trip all around Europe! I have not posted in A MONTH! I do apologize for that – I am a firm believer in living in the moment and I couldn’t bring myself to to any form of work! I will be Continue reading
I am preparing to head across the pond to London in about two weeks and I could not be more excited! I have been to London before but have never gotten to explore as much as I would like. Here are a couple of things I have planned for my time in London: Continue reading
I have named this the “Essential Backpacking List” for several reasons. First, I am a LIGHT packer. This list includes essentials, a few extras, and thats about it! Please note that what I consider essential may not be essential for you, so adjust accordingly! Secondly, I think that it is a great idea to look at what other people pack to give you an idea of what you will need for a trip, especially if it is your first time Continue reading
I am in the midst of planning another trip to my favorite continent – Europe. For those of you who are curious, my first trip to Europewas exploring different parts of Italy. This included Milan, Venice (one of my favorite cities), Ravenna, Florence, Pisa, Cinque Terre, The Vatican, and Rome, as well as a brief stay in London, England. This was such an eye opening and beautiful experience, I needed to go back. I partially attribute this to throwing a coin the the Trevi Fountain in Rome. They say if you throw a coin in and wish to go back, you will.

Since I knew I needed to return – I booked another trip over! Although it was several years later – the thrill instantly returned. My next trip was a solo trip. I was scared, anxious, excited, and simply teeming with energy as I boarded the plane from Canada. Little fact about me – I love planes, airports, packing – anything to do with travel! During this trip I expanded my comfort zone a bit and travelled to several areas. Continue reading
Last summer I was able to visit a truly beautiful city, Barcelona, Spain. I was in Barcelona for a little less than two weeks – I really could have spent about a month exploring all of the different areas. I know everyone says that New York is the city that never sleeps, but I think Barcelona is a close second!
My first day in Barcelona I went directly to my hostel – which happened to be in the perfect location (more about that later!). I quickly unpacked my stuff, charged my camera and set out. I knew I had a fair bit of time to spend in Barcelona – but I really wanted to make the most of my time. I would soon regret this as I forgot that Spanish people often eat dinner quite late. I was starving by the time I got back to my hostel – Equity Point Centric – and grabbed my wallet. Continue reading
I have always loved travelling outside of my comfort zone and travelling to far away worlds. However, I feel so lucky to be able to travel to Banff so often because it is just so darn close to home! Banff is great all seasons of the year. Hit the slopes in winter, hike and explore in spring summer and fall, and of course the food and drink is amazing any time of year. So is the shopping 🙂
In about a week or so I am planning on returning to this little outdoors paradise. Stops will include Johnstone Canyon & Ink Pots, Lake Louise, Canmore & other highlights. I will also be sharing a mouthwatering list of the best food and drink stops in Banff. Until then, feel free to share your ideas for other cool things to do, I always love hearing other perspectives & tips. Hey everyone! Today’s post is all about camping. I am planning to do a road trip along the West Coast of the states this June. The trip will last about a month and we will be camping and hiking most days. There are a couple of times that we (my boyfriend & I) will be staying in a hotel, for example when we are in Vegas, but for the most part we will be camping.
First I will make a list of some supplies you will need for camping. Continue reading
